Round #1

I list the ingredients, you name the product.

Hint: Hospitals often serve this as "health" food.

Skim milk, water, sugar, partially hydrogenated soybean oil, modified food starch, salt, sodium stearoyl lactylate, artificial flavor, color added (including FD&C yellow #5)

This is Andrea. I don't know why my name comes up as A. One of my "try it from scratch" attempts last year was pudding. At which point I realized how easy it is to mix milk, sugar, corn starch, and vanilla and make it on the stove in 5 minutes. How is it that Jell-O has convinced us that all that nasty stuff is saving us time?

Exactly. People think that boxed stuff is faster when it's really not and it's so terrible for you.

Ugh, & homemade pudding tastes so much better anyway. Speaking of which, it's a cold blustery day & we just got milk from the farm. I think pudding will be our after school snack today.
