Duck Confit

I'm giving a shout out for Biaggi's duck confit (yes, I have chain shame). Wow. Amazing. Braised duck confit with wild mushrooms, sun-dried cherries and a veal demi sauce served over herb - parmesan polenta. Seriously, this stuff makes me swoon. And it was only $9. And I had to leave one bite of polenta behind...to save a bit of room for the creme brulee. My tummy loves me.

What does duck taste like? I've always been afraid to order it in case I didn't like it.

It's so yummy! I'm horrible at describing how things taste. It's richer than chicken...wonderful flavor. Confit is duck leg cooked in its own fat.
