Lasagna
Today's lunch was leftover lasagna from supper last night. Whole wheat noodles (why would you use white noodles ever?...someone answer please!), tomato sauce, ground beef, mushrooms, seasonings, cottage cheese, provolone and mozzarella/cheddar. Too lazy to cook a veggie. Dessert was calimyrna figs.

the reason you would use white noodles is because your store carries nothing else...unless you want to use wheat egg noodles in a lasagna!
well, aside from living in the boonies! i know lots of people who have plentiful access to whole wheat pasta that use white. i guess you could use egg noodles and make a lasagna casserole thingee. but yeah, doesn't quite cut it.
hi - I'm Eric Byers's sister -- I enjoy both of your blogs! I agree...I always make lasagna w/ whole wheat noodles, since I don't think you can tell the difference. However, I'm not too big of a fan of whole wheat noodles in spaghetti or other pasta dishes - usually go for more of a multi-grain pasta there.
Oh yay! I love lurkers who come out of the closet!
