what was left of the kids pancakes

maki roll (eel)

1 hot out of the oven PeeWee cookie*

buffalo chicken wings (my favorite food)

cheesy
hashbrown potatoes

1 PeeWee split in half and stuffed with a spoonful of ice cream

*I made these for Evan's family the first time they came to meet my family when we were dating. Someone asked what they were called and I said "PeeWee cookies". Elliot (12 years) said "you mean, the PeeWee Scouts"? I crawled under the table until my face cooled off.

Daily Food Log

In an effort to post more and eat better I'm going to attempt to post what I ate each day. No fancy pictures. I'll try my best to be honest, but ice cream eaten out of the container with the freezer door open doesn't count...we all know that. Oh, I drink massive amounts of water and tea and I will not list it.

2 bites of Avrie's pancake
tiny apple
handful of pecans
a little bowl of authentic flan (snack at preschool)
1 spinach and ricotta calzone (frozen 'healthier' junk)
a bowl of frozen strawberries with a bit of ice cream
a little bowl of chicken pad thai with extra peanuts

Buuurrrrp.

Clockwise from the 9: Waldorf Salad, Sweet Potatoes with cranberries and homemade marshmallows, Jellied Cranberries, Onion and Herb Dressing, Green Bean casserole from scratch, Mashed Potatoes with Turkey Gravy, Brined Turkey.
Nolan's favorite part of the bird!

Brad's Pumpkin Pie. Which was an edible flop, but only because I didn't follow the directions. Which tends to help it seems! It was still delicious.
